Beginning over a decade ago, the Antigonish Farmers’ Market is a family-friendly market where people can come together to socialize, sell, shop and eat. The market supports small, local agricultural operations, home and professional bakers, jewellery makers, crafters and artists of all kinds. Our family of regular vendors has grown from a handful to as high as 60 depending on the season. At our market you will find a bounty of “Feel Good Food”, which includes a wide variety of locally grown and organic fruits and vegetables, organic meats, maple syrup, honey, preserves, wild mushrooms, heritage products, to whatever kind of mouth watering baked goods you could imagine.

The New Glasgow Farmers Market opened the 2011 season with double the vendors of the previous year. As we explode in popularity, we strive to keep the quality extremely high. Our vendors are our lifeblood, and our farmers make us proud every week.
