Adventures in Taste is a culinary tourism program developed in joint partnership between the Nova Scotia Department of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism, Taste of Nova Scotia and the Winery Association of Nova Scotia. It is a collection of authentic culinary and wine tourism experiences linking producers, wineries, restaurants, accommodations, festivals and more throughout the province.

Since 2001 there has been an international surge in “culinary & wine tourism”. It is recognized by tourism professionals as one of the most popular niches in the global tourism industry, accounting for 10% of Nova Scotia’s Tourism Market and Adventures in Taste was created to fill this niche.

Nova Scotia offers the perfect setting for a province-wide culinary tourism product – it can be easily driven in a matter of days, we have a flourishing food and drink culture, an abundance of fresh local seafood, regional product diversity and an established wine industry which continues to show growth.
